CLIMATE ACTIONS

In 2025, Reiss continued to develop its approach to decarbonisation in line with Next Group, with a focus on building the data, systems and operational controls needed to reduce our environmental impact over time. Reiss emissions are reported as part of Next Group – the 2025 emissions report can be found here.

Our commitments are to:

- 55% absolute reduction for Scope 1 and 2 emissions vs FY16/17

- 40% intensity reduction for scope 3 emissions per £mil vs FY19/20

PARTNERSHIPS

Collective action and collaboration with key organisations help strengthen our ESG approach and support improvements across the sector.

In 2023, we became signatories to the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Climate Action Roadmap which sets out the retail industry’s ambition to deliver net zero across supply chains, direct operations and products sold to consumers by 2040.

In 2025, we joined the global nonprofit alliance Cascale, which governs the Higg Index methodologies delivered through Worldly’s global technology platform. Obtaining this data on Worldly will inform the development of our sustainability strategy and Scope 3 decarbonisation ambitions.

RESPONSIBLE SOURCING

Reiss provides guidance to employees and manufacturers on sourcing raw materials in line with recognised standards and certifications. We are working to increase the use of fibres and materials supported by credible third‑party schemes, such as certified organic cotton.

Our commitments are to:

- Source materials in accordance with credible environmental, animal welfare and human rights standards, and collaborate with suppliers to enhance traceability where possible.

PARTNERSHIPS

Reiss participates in the following industry initiatives that contribute towards reducing the impact of raw materials:

Promotes better cotton farming practices.

Supports responsible leather production and sourcing.

Provides solutions that protect forests, the climate and indigenous people impacted by the production of forestry sourced materials including paper, card and viscose.

Provides certification and assurance on the responsible sourcing of wool.

Provides certification and assurance for recycled materials.

SUPPLY CHAIN VISIBILITY

Reiss has mapped and published 100% of its Tier 1 manufacturing sites. We are focused on improving the visibility of our supply chain in order to collect data on both environmental and social risks.

Our commitment is to:

- Identify the Tier 2 facilities used by our key suppliers in 2026, with an additional focus on mapping Tier 3 textile mills and tanneries.

WASTE AND CIRCULARITY

Reiss' policy is to manage and reduce the waste generated from our business operations according to the principles of reduction, re-use and recycling. In 2025 we introduced a centralised garment packaging supplier, with 46% of our garment factories now sourcing Reiss specified low density polyethylene (LDPE) product bags with 100% recycled content through our nominated supplier Mainetti.

Our commitments are to:

- Source 100% recycled content LDPE product bags in 2026.

- Broaden the use of recycled materials in our products through our Global Recycling Standard (GRS) brand certification.
