My Style After-Dark: Part 1

With our everyday wardrobes largely influenced by fashion’s finest bloggers, we decided to turn our attention to the style-set’s after-dark ensembles; inviting six leading names to reveal their go-to eveningwear outfits.

With a clear focus on how each style maven’s look adapts from day into night – and how best to make a sartorial statement long into the twilight hours – our shoot showcases an array of diverse outfits: from razor-sharp tailoring for an androgynous spin, to femme-fatale dresses worthy of screen-siren status.

We interview each of the high-profile trendsetters to discover their after-dark sartorial secrets: from revealing their desk-to-dinner staples, to how best to accentuate every girl’s perennial favourite – an LBD.

Read on to enjoy our stylish snippets from Lucy Williams of Fashion Me Now, Patricia of Patricia Bright and Sarah of Style On The Couch.

Stay tuned for part 2 of the feature, which will go live on Thursday.  Read More

To celebrate launch of Reiss’ AW14 outerwear collection, we’re asking key digital menswear influencers across the world how they would style Reiss coats and jackets to reflect their own personal style. We’re also asking our menswear influencers to reveal the secrets to their cold weather style.

Behind-The-Scenes: Wonderland Film

Renowned fashion magazine, Wonderland, have shot an exclusive video – reminiscent of the French film noir during the 1960s – to showcase our AW14 collection. Shot in simple black and white – with a decidedly vintage-inspired feel – an intimate narrative between a young couple unfolds, sound tracked by lilting French dialogue.

Using a retro Super 8 camcorder, the male actor follows the female actor throughout the apartment – cutting quickly from one revealing shot to the next. Reversing roles, we then see the female actor as she becomes the director, and her male counterpart her muse, smoking a cigarette as he takes to the piano. Flitting between both points of view, each frame is a vivid portrayal of their intense relationship; going on to highlight certain aspects of their personalities.

Co-produced by Nick Thompson and James Willis, and styled by Kusi Kubi, the film takes place in Bethnal Green’s Town Hall hotel, the minimalist interior – think high ceilings, wooden panelled walls and ornate windows – providing the perfect backdrop to the unfolding love story.

Read on for our interview with Nick and scroll through our behind-the-scenes shots for a stylish insight into the film’s most memorable moments.
