2020 has been the year of leisurewear; a way of dressing that catered for our home offices, downtime and quieter social lives. It’s a look, it has taught us about comfort, and it’s not going anywhere. We’re thankful to have had sensible fashion to navigate this year in.

That said, at Reiss dressing up is a way of life. And, as the year-end approaches, we felt an urge to go back to our roots, revisit our signatures through an optimistic lens and bring notes of unabashed glamour back into our lives.

Reiss muses aren’t known for being stay-at-home types. Bianca Jagger, Halston, Andy Warhol and other members of their pack are associated with dancefloors, long dinner tables and cocktail receptions alike – not with lounging at home.

Well, what did we know? Our team then gathered rare images of their petit-comité gatherings – some of them as petit as three people, in which they dressed to the nines as if the world were watching. And that’s how we want our customers to approach this year’s atypical party season.
