Last year, we launched our first-ever collaboration with activewear experts Castore. The second edition goes further, fusing lifestyle elements with a collection rooted in performance excellence - making the transition between exercise and daily urban activities simpler.  

Castore uses cutting-edge materials and unique manufacturing methods to create innovative activewear. Our collaboration presents garments of technical superiority with REISS’ signature poise and sartorial credits.   

The new range features athletic silhouettes cut from technical fabrications with shape recovery, allowing for additional movement. Meanwhile contoured lines, sweat-repelling innovation and cool-touch fabrics improve performance and comfort.

What does this mean for womenswear? A fashion-forward colour palette - including shades of espresso, cloud, thyme, and petal - in multipurpose sets that go far beyond the gym: am I running a marathon, out playing tennis, or am I just going to the shops?    Soon to be added womenswear styles include leggings and shorts with moisture-wicking properties for improved breathability, and bonded seams for maximum comfort during any phase of the workout.

REISS Menswear Director, Alex Field, discusses what’s new: “With the fresh colour palette, everything looks curated. Practicality makes it fit into people’s lifestyles. Adding leisure elements to activewear means that everything delivers on the comfort scale and on performance.” 

“This is the first time that knitwear features in the range.” He continues. “It was designed in-house, as it’s a key category for REISS.”

The collection’s menswear line will soon feature shorts with compression properties for improved muscle performance, in addition to other multifunctional pieces crafted from quick-drying fabrications. The creative process was an authentic collaboration, harnessing the expertise of each brand whilst exploring new opportunities.
