'For the season ahead, Cuban collar shirts stand out as the most inspirational silhouette.'
'Make suiting exciting by mixing your tailoring with a printed linen shirt or knitwear in a dramatic hue. To keep this look cool forgo socks and slip on some suede tassel loafers.'
' The key to style this season is putting an emphasis on attitude, dare to stand out! Confidence is key, to convey this opt for an impactful hue.'
'When holidaying invest in a good pair of sunglasses. You can’t really go wrong with the classic Wayfarer shape!'

About the Shoot

It’s an often conceded fact that great style is perennial – the question of how to interpret and wear new season pieces however is part of a constantly evolving dialogue. To help to contextualise and illuminate the provenance behind SS14’s key themes, we looked to a conversation between our creative menswear insiders to find out how SS14 evolved from formative inspirations in to a fully-realised collection.

While each insider champions an individual point of reference and highlight of the season ahead, together their musings create a thread of inspiration which runs throughout each piece in our new collection.

Against the backdrop of the appropriately stylish La Fromagerie in London’s well-heeled Marylebone, key figures from our menswear team met for a sartorial brunch to discuss inspirations, shapes, styling and colours for the season ahead, as well as looking back to the men whose iconic style helped to shape the collection’s aesthetic. This season it makes perfect sartorial sense to take your cues from our Insiders’ insights into SS14.
