WINTER'S BEST SKATE LOCATIONS

15.11.13

Here at Reiss HQ we like to embrace - not fear - the winter. We'll be layering up, sipping hot chocolate and skating at some of London's best ice rinks. So that you can cherry pick your favourite skate location, we've put together some wonderfully wintry destinations to glide - or slide - across the ice at.

SKATE AND STAY AT SOMERSET HOUSE AND AND THE SAVOY

Two of our favourite London locations have come together to create one wonderfully wintry combination. The Savoy Hotel and Somerset House are offering guests a stay & skate deal between the 14th of November and the 5th of January. This festive package includes a two night stay at The Savoy for two including breakfast, a festive afternoon tea for two, two tickets to ice skate at Somerset House and treats on arrival from Savoy tea. If this sounds as tempting to you as it does to us, simply book at the link below.

HYDE PARK WINTER WONDERLAND

The Hyde Park Winter Wonderland's ice skating rink is just the tip of this frosty destination's offerings. One of London's finest parks is transformed into a treasure trove of yuletide activity. From the 22nd of November to the 5th of January you can enjoy a giant observation wheel, circus shows, stalls and rides, and of course skating too (though we recommend that you do book ahead).

SKATE AT HAMPTON COURT PALACE

What once was the residence of Tudor king Henry VIII now serves as one of the most picturesque destinations for a winter's skate. Just outside of London, Hampton Court Palace's skate rink also boasts an Ice Bar & Café which is ideal for warming up after your skate, serving a selection of winter drinks and festive themed snacks. Open from the 30th of November to 12th January.
