WHAT'S ON: NOVEMBER

04.11.13

The weather may be getting colder in November, but the events calendar for the month ahead is already hotting up. We've rounded up all of the most important dates to have in your diary - these are the occasions not to be missed.

9th NOVEMBER - LORD MAYOR'S SHOW

Ambling across a 3 mile route - and nearly in its 800th year - the Lord Mayor's Show is one of London's oldest annual events. Bystanders can watch as a 6000-strong procession descends upon the streets of the capital in a variety of floats. Military displays, marching bands, acrobats, dancers and the Lord Mayor herself will pass through the route, which culminates in a fireworks display over the River Thames at 5pm.

St. Paul's, London EC4M 8AD

15th NOVEMBER - SOUTHBANK CENTRE CHRISTMAS MARKET

Mid-November sees the start of the Southbank Centre's Christmas Market, a date which we think is appropriately early enough to get into the Christmas spirit! At the event you'll find Yuletide wooden chalets which are filled with mulled wine, bratwurst, gingerbread and more - it's the ideal Christmas market for festive foodies.

26th NOVEMBER - WINTER ROOFTOP CINEMA

Situated on the rooftop of London's exclusive Berkeley hotel, the Winter Rooftop Cinema provides the ideal way to see out the month. This outdoor cinema plays host to wintry favourite films, and with only four seats, it can safely lay claim to being London's most intimate way to enjoy al fresco film.
