Our SS14 collection was inspired by travel and leisure, so it made perfect sense to ask Spanish-based menswear blogger Jeffrey Herrero to tell us about his favourite places to travel and his style for leisurely days spent off-duty. Find out how Jeffrey spends his down time, and see what travel essentials that he put inside of our Channing men's holdall.

Where in the world is your dream destination?

My dream destination has always been the Taj Mahal. Well, if not always then at least since I watched Aladdin when I was 10 years old. The sultan's palace ignited something in me.

In 2006 I fulfilled my dream not only to see, but to touch and feel the seventh wonder of the world. I watched the sunset reflecting off its marble domes and touched the waters of the Yamuna river as it refracted in to a thousand golden hues.

How do you go about packing your bag?

I like to plan everything in advance, and yes, as you may have guessed, I'm a painstaking person. Maps, guides, even when  trips are short, everything must be meticulously planned. Regarding clothes, I select the minimum necessary, but the most important thing is that those few garments are versatile, so that I can create lots of different looks.

On my next holiday I'll be wearing ...

My next trip is to London, it will be shorter than I would like, but as always the suitcase that I take will be half empty. What I take is just for the first few days because I like to visit all the shops and vintage stores in the cities that I sojourn picking up pieces along the way.

I can think of few things better than getting lost in the small and quaint shops of a city like London - it's one of my favourite destinations.

I'd describe my holiday style as low key.

I like discovering lots of different sites, so I like to merge into the local crowd to enjoy the food and the everyday places. Of course, I always carry my DSLR and an analogue Lomo camera, just in case!
