MY STYLE: BOY IN THE BLACK BOW TIE

12.10.14

From bow ties to blazers and everything in between, we asked Warren Pasi, aka The Boy In The Black Bow Tie, how he'd style the Reiss AW14 menswear collection. See how Warren wears Reiss and discover whose style he's coveting for AW14.

Warren wears the Barney grey blazer, the Barney grey trousers, the Barney grey waistcoat and the Rossi dark brown monk strap shoes.

How best would you describe your style?

Prep-lux with a dash of high street, when I was younger and trying to be part of the cool group I couldn't get enough of labels but now that I'm a little bit older - and let’s hope less vain - I'm enjoying mixing expensive with inexpensive pieces,  rather than head-to-toe designer.

What inspired your picks from our AW14 collection?

I loved the classic-meets-modern vibe throughout the collection, which made each piece appeal to me and my personal style.

When travelling, what are your suitcase essentials?

A fresh bottle of Valentino ‘Uomo’ men’s fragrance, a crisp white shirt, my Peter Alexander onesie and of course a black bow tie - I can never travel without at least one bow tie.

Who is your ultimate style icon and why?

There are so many people that I find uber-stylish, many whom have had some influence on the way I dress myself today.  But if I had to choose from my list of candidates it would have to be David Gandy, he just oozes British cool in everything he wears. I'm starting to discover just how much of my personal style is becoming heavily influenced by British style.

How does your day-to-night dressing differ?

Not so much, I'm always being told by people around me that I look like I'm going to a party - I don’t do casual very well.
