TRY SOMETHING NEW

27.01.13

How is it STILL January? We have no idea, but according to our calendars - it is. So, the best way to get through this slow time of year is to keep yourselves busy. If you're bored of the gym, avoiding the pub or generally feeling a little lack lustre, why not try something new? Here's a few ideas courtesy of the Reiss Guide.

WHERE:

Museum of Brands, 2 Colville Mews, Lonsdale Road, London, W11 2AR, 020 7908 0880.

WHAT:

A museum as close to the metaphorical memory lane as you can get, the Museum of Brands displays over 12,000 items from the Victorian era to the present day. Telling the story of consumer culture and charting the changes in British shopping habits over the last 200 years, it's a blast from the past.

WHERE:

Pillbox Vintage, see website for locations.

WHAT:

Late Night Vintage at The Shipping Forecast

On the first Thursday of every month, Pillbox Vintage hosts men’s and women’s vintage and retro nights in unique venues. Late Night Vintage combines vintage shopping with an evening out and creates a vintage heaven with scattered stalls offering clothing, accessories, jewellery and homeware - with a drink!
