London Fashion Week is arguably one of the most stylish events in the British calendar. Everyone from editors to models, buyers to writers flock to see what designers have in store for the coming season. But we want to know where the fashion crowd head to when the shows wind down and business turns to pleasure. Our friends at BarChick have collated a list of go-to cocktail bars that won't lose their chic appeal, even after the event is over.

A rooftop bar with a Southbank view on top of the newly opened Mondrian Hotel? You had us at hello. It’s inspired by the Bright Young Things of 1920’s London who were famed for their parties and lavish lifestyle, and with cocktails by Mr Lyan, you won’t be leaving any time before closing.

Artesian is one of BarChicks’ favourite bars in the world, and a go-to for great cocktails. If you’re looking to finish off your day with a Pina Colada served in a golden pineapple, you're in the right place.

1C Portland Place, London W1B 1JA

The guys behind Happiness Forgets have done it again with their slick new offering. Unlike its bookings-only brother in Hoxton there’s plenty of room in here to kick back with a cocktail and play some pool, and if you’re feeling naughty, swing by Stokey Bears upstairs for an epic burger on the way home.

129 Stoke Newington High Street, London, N16 0PH

A renowned celeb hotspot, you need to up your game to get in to Chiltern Firehouse, so once you’re in, stay put and get ready to ride out the big bill. Like the models who frequent it, the bar menu is small but perfectly formed, with only four options in each category. Book ahead or arrive early as you’ll need Kate and Cara on each arm to get in post 9pm.

Step aside The Shard, there’s a new guy in town. The sky-high bar that everyone’s been talking about has opened its doors to spoil us with landscaped botanical gardens, two delicious restaurants and a stylish cocktail bar. Swing by for people watching and panoramic views over the London skyline.

20 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 3BY

Soho has a new playhouse and this speakeasy that everyone’s talking about is all about making drinking fun again. Three of London’s best bartenders are behind this and have created a menu packed with innovative flavours and silly serves (we’re talking Chinese take-away box style).  With big tunes and colour changing lights, this is where everyone will be getting their fun fix this Fashion Week.

22 Great Marlborough Street, London W1F 7HU

BarChick’s favourite opening from last year is to thank for making London’s Southbank desirable again. Legendary designer Tom Dixon is behind the monochrome decor and Ryan Cheti (of White Lyan fame) created a perfect cocktail menu based around botanicals. You might stop by for one but before you know it you’ll be in that lift and on your way up to the Rumpus Rooms.

An Art Deco-inspired paradise on the 24th floor of Tower 42 is possibly the chicest place in town. Get ready to be swept off your feet by the view or knocked off them by a drinks list that’ll have you working through them all. Good job there’s a Michelin starred restaurant up there to line that stomach. NB: Dress to impress.
