Sarah Mikaela's hugely successful fashion blog Framboise Fashion is an ode to Scandi-cool style, with her Danish heritage clearly making its mark throughout her enviable wardrobe.

How does your day-to-night style differ? I tend to try and wear heels if I’m going out. I do like to dress up, but I stay within my own style which is quite tomboy-ish. I like wearing menswear-inspired things, but perhaps breaking it up with a pair of heels. If I was wearing a dress I’d probably dress it down with a pair of flats so it’s easier to dance. What are your failsafe staples from desk-to-dinner? Putting on a little bit more make-up makes me feel more dressed up. What are your after-dark beauty essentials? Eyeliner is a must for beauty after dark; I’ll make the cat-eye flick a bit longer and more dramatic. If I’m not going all-out with eye makeup, I’ll apply some red lipstick or a little red to my cheeks.

How best would you describe your signature style after hours?

My style is best described as ‘minimalist tomboy’ with a soft spot for colour and print. I love wearing colours to break up my minimalism, but I still like retaining a really clean feel. I might wear a colourful jacket with an all-white outfit; I always like to add a fun detail.

Which city inspires your eveningwear choices most?

Copenhagen comes through in my style having lived there for five years, and being Danish I have a minimalist approach to things. London style is so much fun; it’s eclectic and experimental – I find that such an interesting mix.

How would you dress up a classic LBD?

I think nude heels and perhaps a black leather jacket are perfect for dressing up an LBD – I’m a fan of keeping it really simple.

How would you spend your dream evening out?

I would go out with friends to have fun, and I love it when good music is involved. I think that music plays such a big part of going out, especially when you can dance and it’s not too loud to have a conversation.

Where in the world do you recommend for a night out?

Shoreditch House is amazing, you have so many different rooms and I love the candy corner – I could spend a good half an hour in there.

Anneli Willis from What I Bought Today is a renowned fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogger, who has gained a reputation for favouring only the most luxurious of investments.

How does your day-to-night style differ?

I’m often in black skinnies, a silk top and a leather jacket during the day and night. My style isn’t very girly, I wear a lot of black and grey - so with some added make-up and heels, I am often good to go straight out.

What are your failsafe staples from desk-to-dinner?

I would like to think I’ve managed to master the day to night dressing by now - I have certainly had enough practice! A pair of good shoes, a statement jacket or blazer and a bright lipstick can really do the world of difference to an outfit.

What are your after-dark beauty essentials?

My beauty arsenal for a night out contains a shimmer bronzer, eyeliner and my Vaseline balm, which is a lifesaver - I use it on my lips, eyebrows and cheeks.

How best would you describe your signature style after hours?

My signature evening style consists of leather skinnies with a silk top, a blazer and some minimal black stilettos. My style isn’t very fussy, I’m almost always in all-black. I tend to focus on statement accessories, and will keep the rest of my outfit minimal and clean.

Which city inspires your eveningwear choices most?

Paris without a doubt inspires my style - there is definitely something in the air over there! The Parisians have really nailed that effortless chic: I always make more of a conscious effort to dress up [in the city] during the evening; not necessarily more formally – quite the opposite in fact!

How would you dress up a classic LBD?

I love a good classy LBD. Depending on the occasion, I would mostly wear mine with a fitted leather biker jacket and some booties for a night out with the girls. An oversized silk blazer and some dainty stilettos are the perfect way to dress up an LBD for a formal event.

How would you spend your dream evening out?

My dream evening out would be spent with my husband and a group of friends with pre-drinks at the London Edition Hotel, dinner at Chiltern Street Firehouse and cocktails at the Groucho Club.

Which hotspots do you head to come cocktail hour?

Ever since moving to London, I have always had a weak spot for Soho, with far too many good memories (only during the weekdays though – the weekends are far too hectic for me). My all-time favourite London hotspots are Soho House, Dean Street Townhouse and the bar at La Bodega Negra (which do the best cocktails in town).

Jessie Bush from We The People is a London-based fashion blogger, photographer and Vogue contributor, whose impeccable street-style is regularly admired in Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire (to name a few).

How does your day-to-night style differ?

My day to night style doesn’t differ hugely, there’s usually lots of grey, black, navy and maybe white. I would usually opt for a less bulky coat for the evening – I’d wear a leather jacket or a blazer.

What are your failsafe staples from desk-to-dinner?

My desk to dinner essentials are a pair of black jeans, really high black heels, and then a simple loose fitting T-shirt and a leather jacket.

What are your after-dark beauty essentials?

My evening beauty regime isn’t too crazy, probably just concealer and/or lip balm.

How best would you describe your signature style after hours?

My signature evening style is still minimal and undone, but slightly more fitted and polished. A key evening colour would be black, and I also like a red lip.

Which city inspires your eveningwear choices most?

I don’t know if any one city particularly inspires my style but maybe New York, just because I love going out there, and girls always look cool but never very fancy or overdressed.

How would you dress up a classic LBD?

I normally wear a little black dress with relatively high pointy black ankle boots - keeping it very simple.

How would you spend your dream evening out?

I’m not much of a club person, so my dream evening out would probably involve a house party. I love going out in New York, but I do love London too – I like the relaxed vibe and the option of choosing a great cocktail bar or pub.

Where in the world do you recommend for a night out?

In Sydney there’s a tequila bar called Tio’s that's great fun.  I move around the world quite a bit and I like to go to different places so that no night is the same. I’ve lived in London, New York and Sydney, so I don’t really have a local - I like to explore and I’m open to suggestions from friends.
