How would you sum up your personal style?

Classic minimalism with an edge.

Who or what do you look to for styling inspiration?

Pinterest is my go-to and my favourite style blogs are Sincerely Jules, Song of Style and Harper & Harley.

What trends have you bookmarked as favourites for SS16?

I don't really follow trends, but I know what I like and what works for me, which is clean lines and block colours combined with bohemian touches. I love fringing, embroidered cotton tops and lots of denim.

Which key piece should no wardrobe be without?

Jackets! They are the core part of my wardrobe and are the easiest way to pull a look together. A leather biker, for example, will add a contemporary edge, a tailored blazer offers a more sophisticated approach and a khaki jacket works best with a more casual outfit. The list (and possibilities) go on.

What was your biggest fashion faux pas?

Buffalo platforms and dying my hair orange. Ouch.

What one ‘guilty pleasure’ trend are you hoping will make a comeback?

I can´t think of any that I would particularly want to re-live. If there was a trend I still loved, I wouldn’t be shy of wearing it.

What is your favourite piece from the Reiss SS16 collection and why?

The Caden leather biker jacket. It’s a great transeasonal investment piece and one of the best fitting bikers I have ever owned.

What summer destination are you heading for next and what will you be sure to pack?

I have a pretty busy summer, and so far I´m off to Morocco, Sri Lanka, Scandinavia, Spain, possibly Greece and the Maldives. I’ll be sure to pack a pleated midi skirt like the Rockie style, as it’s perfect for travelling, daytime and evening, and a pair of block-heel sandals like the Vivi – they go with everything.

ANNELI'S SS16 EDIT

Loulou playsuit, Odette lace sweatshirt. Vivi midi heels, Margerita clutch

THE PLAYSUIT: This super cute city playsuit is the ideal day to night summer piece. Just switch out your flats for some strappy sandals or wedges and you're good to go.

THE LACE SWEATSHIRT: Lace is a great investment whatever time of year it is and I adore this long-sleeved cream sweatshirt. I'll wear it with everything from distressed denim to a pencil skirt,

THE MID-HEIGHT BLOCK HEEL: Everyone needs a pair of block-heel midi shoes in their life and this black pair is so versatile that I'm sure I will wear them throughout this season and into next.

Rockie pleated skirt, Trevill Christys hat

THE LEATHER BIKER: If you're after the perfect leather jacket, look no further than the black Caden style. Although it's summer, black is always classic and when worn with lighter separates, it makes the perfect cover-up.

THE PLEATED MIDI SKIRT: The midi skirt is the new mini, so this is the ultimate spring/summer trend piece. To make it look all the more elegant, add some height with a good heel and a chic silk blouse, or toughen up your look with a leather jacket slung casually over your shoulders.

Jada double-breasted blazer, Jada tailored shorts

THE SHORT SUIT: This tailored two-piece will make a great addition to your capsule wardrobe and will look great with everything from strappy sandals to leather loafers.

Gisele printed bikini top, Gisele printed bikini briefs, Trevill trilby hat

THE PRINTED BIKINI: Tropical prints are set to be huge this summer and I particularly love this understated black version.

THE STRAW TRILBY: You can't go wrong with a Panama hat in summer. With this natural style you'll stay looking ultra chic whilst protecting yourself from the rays.
