Sara Escudero: My MFW Diary

As the fashion pack continue to make their presence felt in the streets of Milan - sporting the city's signature colour-block brights and structured silhouettes - we turn to style maven Sara Escudero from Collage Vintage for an exclusive insider guide to Milan Fashion Week. Soon to share standout street-style shots, behind-the-scenes snaps and city hotspots, we caught up with Sara to discuss which celebrity wardrobe she'd love to raid, the AW14 trends she's currently coveting, and the handbag essentials every girl requires.

What can’t you leave home without during MFW?

I can't live without lipstick, a pair of heel and band aids.

Which AW14 trends are you most excited to wear?

Oversized knits, head-to-toe green outfits, masculine suits and folk dresses.

Sara's chosen Reiss staples to wear during Milan Fashion Week.

Steal her style with our abstract-print Milna midi skirt, Sassy black leather belt, Alto quilted leather rucksack, Isla suede cut-out heels and Sergant oversized grey roll neck.

If you could raid anyone’s wardrobe, who would it be and why?

Olivia Palermo's closet - she has amazing clothes and I love her shoes.

Name your fantasy catwalk show?

Which shows are you most looking forward to?

Prada, Gucci and Etro.

Tell us your ultimate Fashion Week anecdote?

A New York summer storm totally ruined my outfit and hair after a big show; you have to be ready for any weather inconvenience!

Your favorite city hotspots during Fashion Week?

Visit the Duomo cathedral, walk along the canal and eat good pizza in a terrace. Also make sure to enjoy the Milano ‘Aperitivo’: happy hour for cocktails and food.

Get The Look: Sara wears the Hattie wool trilby, Rivers silk-blend jumper and our Rosalia polka dot skirt.
