"My style resolution is to stick to what I know. Each season I pin point investment statement pieces and build outfits around them. I’m refreshing my wardrobe for SS13 with classic whites, denim and bright neon accessories and nail polish."Reiss Girl NYC
'Out with the old, in with the new', 'new year, new you' - this time of year these cliches are ringing around offices and living rooms nationwide as we plot our 2013 transformations. But really, how easy is it to live through a 'dry' January? Or go to the gym three times a week? Or even trying to eat your five a day?! Usually much harder than expected, so this year, we're pushing aside unrealistic targets and sticking to what we know; fashion. A style resolution is so much easier (and more fun) to keep. Here are a few of ours...
"To shake things up a bit and mix more. Review my wardrobe in a military fashion, identify any gaps and invest accordingly!"Helena Choudhury, Head of Press
"To wear less black! And introduce some bold colour to my wardrobe."Rebecca Luton, Brand Manager
"For me, last year was all about sharp tailoring. For SS13 I want to keep my tailoring focus but in a more relaxed and unstructured style, playing with different silhouettes and mixing textures."Alex McCart, Men's Tailoring Manager
"Nothing changes much from one season to the next for menswear, more often than not styles develop over multiple seasons. In my opinion, I definitely think the 'slim suit' will be seen less this season, with a much bigger emphasis on the return of a more relaxed silhouette, giving our legs a much-needed breather."Jon Holt, Personal Tailoring Specialist
“My new year’s style resolution is to invest in timeless wardrobe staples without being too influenced by trends. I’m sure as always though there will be a few one-off statement pieces along the way...”Chris Gill, Menswear Copywriter
