It's no surprise to find a curtain of black at fashion week. It's a tried-and-tested uniform for most fashion editors aiming to look their very chicest. However, with the knowledge that monochrome is a huge trend for SS14, the fashion week attendees added a little white to the mix as well. Our street style photographer spotted plenty of all black, all white as well as black and white, so monochrome was the simple choice for those craving a break from colour.

Preppy black and white with a hint of embellishment is a great way to add texture to these simple looks.
