London Fashion Week Street Style

14.09.12

Day one of London Fashion Week and we hot-footed it straight to Somerset House to capture the first foray of fashion's finest. Dressed to the nines, we captured London's most stylish flaunting AW12's hottest trends and even a few Reiss pieces. Leather, hats, prints, pencils and more - they were all there and we found them. Day one done - what do you think?

We spy a leather pencil, just like our MISSY skirt.

Neons are calling! Ours are arriving soon, stay tuned...

Snoods are the ultimate winter warmer, when ours drop they will be chunky, colourful and slouchy.

Layers of tulle swirl, twirl and whirl around Somerset house. Try our tulle-layered ADI dress for a similarly frothy experience.

Negotiating those cobbles is easy with a pair of natty loafers. Get the look with our JUNO.

Hats off to London Fashion Week, we're loving this dead ringer of our RYDER hat. The perfect finishing touch.

Envelope clutches rule, as does our ARLETA.

Layering our CEDAR dress with preppy collars a la campaign stylee.

A jaunty beret looks so cute with a button-down shirt and red lip. Get the look with our CAPRI.

Matching jacquard in molten metal tones = HOT. Love this look? try BETTE.

Leather dresses - huge trend down at Somerset House. We can't wait for our THEODORA to arrive.

It's all about wearing coloured leather (just like our BECKY jacket) with tough girl accessories.

Pyjama prints are louche, luxe and just like DUFFY.

Hello ELETTRA, swinging on the shoulder of a very stylish lady!

A cool contrast in pink and orange, try it out in our eye-popping ASTRA.

A touch of snake lends the cobbles a luxe edge. Our MIMOSA in mauve will have you dancing across them.

Leather pants! The ultimate fashion buy, like our DYLAN trousers (which are selling out fast...).

Heritage-inspired tweeds, with a Lana Del Rey-inspired look? Yes please! If you covet this cape, try our SAMBA jacket.

Collar bars, not just for boys. Although our men's BUSTER shirt may disagree...

The skirt shape is the pencil, the colour is forest green. We love it, almost as much as our SIMIA in autumn's other hot shade; inky blue.

This gent knows the importance of a spotty pocket square - introduce your top pocket to WINEHOUSE.

And, we bumped into Matthew Zorpas aka The Gentleman Blogger - tomorrow's Guest Editor.

Stay tuned as he takes over Reiss social and the blog tomorrow...
