Acting as an insider's city guide, our My Secret series hops around the world visiting our favourite city's most stylish inhabitants and asking them to show us around. Our latest stop is in the uninhibited yet laid-back city of Berlin, and Jessica of fashion blog, Journelles, talks us through where to Eat, Drink, Sleep, Shop and what to Do in her home city.

For breakfast on the weekends go to 3 Minutes Sur Mer - they have the best Eggs Benedict in town and I love the French atmosphere.

Head to Joris for lunch. Try their baked potato with changing toppings and salad, sit outside and watch the good looking girls from the Lala Berlin Atelier, which is right around the corner.

Prince Restaurant which is kind of new and offers an Asian fusion kitchen and tapas is the perfect spot for dinner. They have great drinks too!

Monkey Bar in the new 25 Hours Hotel has a superb view over Berlin Zoo and amazing drinks. Go for one of their champagne creations and try to spot some monkeys.

Gorki Apartments. Instead of renting airbnb apartments check out the lovely Gorki flats in Mitte. They make you feel at home instantly!

I like to shop at Parkhaus and Minimum, for interiors, great accessories, vintage finds and Scandinavian brands and MDC Cosmetics for organic brands like Aesop and Grown.

For fashion I head to Schwarzhogerzeil for Isabel Marant, Carven and other French brands, Voo Store is Kreuzberg's finest concept store with lots of Scandinavian brands and I also like to hit Isobel Gowdie for fabulous vintage pieces (be sure to take cash with you).

Rent a bicycle and enjoy Berlin while cycling through Graefekiez, Mitte, Museumsinsel and along the Spree river. You'll see all the sights within a day!
