After catching up with Charlene last week, this week we look to another of our hard-working Reiss/Kids Co Interns to grab for five minutes and get up to speed on what they've been working on. So today, we popped into the design room, where Albin, our Accessories Design intern, was at his desk, busy working on the design for his scarf.

How is the internship going so far?

It's going great, I'm loving it! I've been here for over 3 months and my internship has been extended for another month which is brilliant. I'm currently working on a scarf design which is totally my own project and I'm working on my portfolio too. These two projects are keeping me really busy!

What’s your favourite part of the job?

Using Photoshop and Illustrator to realise my designs. It's fairly new to me, as I've only used it a little in the past, so it's fantastic for me to expand on my skills in this area.

After your experience so far, is design a career you’d like to pursue?

Yes, I think so. I love designing, and a career in fashion design would be my ultimate dream.

Are there any other aspects of the fashion industry you’d like to explore?

Menswear and womenswear design would be great to explore. If I try these two fields as well, it will give me more rounded design experience and the opportunity to broaden my design skills in other areas of fashion.
