Today, we welcome the newest addition to the Reiss store portfolio, located within the stunning architecture of the Oculus building at Westfield World Trade Center, New York. It was Reiss' Creative Director James Spreckley and interiors agency, d-raw who worked to develop the design from concept to reality and they aimed to complement the interior of its Madison Avenue companion within the general aesthetic. The Westfield World Trade Center store can be found at: Upper Level Oculus, World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, NY 10007

Much like the existing Reiss locations across the globe, the general look of the newly opened Westfield World Trade Center store is beautifully considered with a focus on reputable design. It’s located in the centre of the financial district and is therefore surrounded by a host of city professionals. To nod to this attribute, the creative team took inspiration from skyscraper buildings and built a high-powered concept, all the while staying in-line with the established aesthetic.
Materials are modern and clean-cut, with a focus on marble and metal, whilst low-light chandeliers and smoked mirrors set a dramatic tone. Key features reference the changeable nature of the weather, with rain-effect screens and cloud-inspired ceiling bringing a sense of the city outside into the Oculus building.
