With wet hair we sat and tried to think hot summer thoughts like the clothes we were seeing! The collection was a fab mix of oversized silhouettes in citric colours and shades of blue (sure to be the colour for next summer!).

Bright sunshine can be deceiving when you get dressed in the morning for shows, as I discovered when I turned up to the first venue of the day for the Thomas Tait show; a skatepark outdoors on the south bank!
And, I really loved the 60's space age ankle boot with yellow block heel.
A coffee and Starbucks cheese and marmite toastie later and feeling much warmer, we took to the warmth and cosiness of Claridges to watch Mulberry. The entrance was covered with garden gnomes and once inside, fresh bottled juices and colourful layered cake was given to the crowd.
With an enviable front row including Kate Moss, Lana Del Rey and Alexa Chung (all deep in conversation), the show starts and an amazing pastel palette comes down the runway, my favourite piece being the mint green oversized biker jacket (adding to my shopping list for ss13!).
Roksanda show was next at the Savoy (was a day of posh hotels!) and the 70's seemed to be where it was at here, with oversized pointy collars, high-waisted flares and big colourful oversized clutches! From there it was back to the tents at Somerset House and Simone Rocha became one of my top 5 shows for London Fashion Week! Again oversized silhouettes and perspex soled brogues, but the neon colours were a strong addition to her collection!
Outside somerset house I found the coolest kid ever and probably the most photographed kid at fashion week! Then rushed over to the Anya Hindmarch show which was an amazing paper carousel split into different moving sections!
The day is nearly over and had to lie in the park for a 30 min lunch break!
Next was the Ashish show, I loved the mix of denim and sequins and the scrunchy is back! bring on the 90's!
Finally we ended our day with a sip of champagne and then I went home to sort out my wardrobe for Milan!
