Graffiti can express a whole range of underlying social and political messages, and if you've ever been to Venice Beach then you will know that graffiti art is an important part of the local landscape. A whole genre of artists use the medium as a form of visual expression with paint and particularly spray cans and markers becoming the most commonly used materials for local graffiti artists. The Venice Beach Art Walls are located on the sand at Venice Beach, where since 2007, artists with a valid permit have been invited to show their skills and paint the walls maintained and curated by ICU Art - In Creative Unity. We loved the wall art during our recent visit to Venice Beach - what do you think?
