FESTIVE STYLE TIPS FOR GIRLS

30.11.12

This time of year we take all the sartorial advice on offer. From fretting about that Christmas party outfit, to whittling down those Christmas lists faster than the endless supply of mince pies and glasses of fizz, we look to those in the 'know' to guide us in the right direction. So, meet our Head of Personal Shopping, Alicia, as she talks us through what she'll be wearing and buying, this Christmas.

What will you be wearing this party season?

I will be wearing a statement party dress, there's no better time to pull out all the stops with a bright and bold party piece, like the sequin embellished Alison dress. I will let the dress speak for itself and keep accessories simple with the Tiffany cream clutch.

Who’s your party style icon?

Kate Moss because she is always so effortlessly cool - she can rock up for a night out in skinny jeans, a top and heels to dance the night away without stumbling in towering stilettos or being squashed into a super-tight bodycon dress.

What’s your desk to dancefloor style tip?

Accessories can completely change an outfit. I would pair my Amity dress in black, with my black Kristina boots, a winter coat, scarf and tote bag  for work. Then I'd change into a leather biker jacket, add a cool pop of colour with the pink Raina clutch and statement jewellery for my evening look.

What’s on your Christmas wishlist?

The Becky biker jacket, Bailly black ankle boots and the Dakota top handle bag in prune.

Who’s the trickiest person on your xmas list and what will you buy them?

My boyfriend! So I'm going to get him the Berlin moleskin blazer, Buster white shirt and Granite black jeans.
