Next up to tell all in our My Fashion Week series is British actress, Samantha Barks, who speaks of a love for Kate Moss, amazing fashion week parties and good cuppa once she's home after a long day on the frow.

What can't you leave home without during LFW?

I can't leave without a little emergency make-up kit (a girl's true best friend). RMKĀ  do some great mini make-ups - which I take with me everywhere!

What was your favourite ever fashion week show?

It would have to be the Topshop Unique Show SS14. The team built an actual park inside a huge tent in leafy Regent's Park, so on this windy, drizzly day you had the feeling of being outside, sat in the warmth, surrounded by all this fresh fashion. It was an all-round amazing experience sat on the front row with Anna Wintour, Philip Green, Kate Moss, Daisy Lowe and so many more. Seeing the beautiful Cara Delevingne and Jordan Dunn strutting down the catwalk was something I'll never forget.

What trend will you be trialling at fashion week?

I think the most exciting thing about fashion season is that it gives fashion lovers license to experiment. The key trends I want to experiment with in AW14? Monochrome with a splash of colour, timeless checks and tartan will be staying firmly on-trend and I think we will be seeing a lot more sophisticated tailoring; sleek shapes with strong lines which won't accentuate the female form, but leave people guessing.

Name your fantasy front row

Beyonce is a must! Victoria Beckham because I love her and Anna Wintour because she is the reigning queen!

Which show are you most excited to see?

I'm really excited to see Julien MacDonald this season, I missed the show last time round due to my filming schedule and it looked so amazing - so, I am excited to see which new glam pieces are on the runway this season.

Tell us your favourite fashion week anecdote

I remember the first time I saw Kate Moss walk into a room. My time at the Oscars made me relatively used to a media frenzy, but watching the room start buzzing with flashes when she walked in was simply amazing, no one could keep their eyes off her. She has had such an amazing and varied fashion career and in my opinion, she truly is one of the most beautiful women to ever grace the catwalk.

What's your favourite fashion week haunt?

You can't beat a dinner at Balthazar after a show with your friends, but my favourite thing about fashion week is the parties! The design teams and magazines host these amazing events in weird and wonderful places, filling them with an eclectic mix of people. Every time you think a party can't be trumped - boom, another amazing event. The very best part of the evening? Getting home, making a cup of tea and putting your PJs on. The only thing better than putting on an amazing outfit? Taking it off!
