FASHION NOTESIN THE DIARYWOMEN'S
Our New York team are kick-starting their festive season this Thursday with lovely Thanksgiving celebrations. Some are heading out, while others are staying at home to tuck into their hearty meal.
Whatever you decide to do to give thanks, do it in style. Here are our favourite looks to enjoy Thanksgiving in – no matter what you’ve got planned.
Go luxe but wrapped up warm if you’re heading out to a Thanksgiving lunch. We love a soft and neutral colour palette, so pull on the Annecy shearling jacket, Kasha jumper, Bailey trousers and step into the Noma sandals.
If you’re staying at home, then you’ll want to be casual, cosy and feeling festive, so plump for season-appropriate colours. Try sinking into the chunky Asto roll neck, tailored Paris Lan trousers and pretty Malva sandals.
It is an occasion after all, so if you feel like dressing up a little bit, just pop your chunky knit on above a slinky leather skirt and a glossy, spiky heel. We like the Davidson jumper with the Shannon skirt and Rae heels – all in perfect thanksgiving shades.
And, if a more formal function is on the cards, then choose metallic burnished tones with an autumnal feel, like bronze and rose gold. Slip into the lurex-laced Kasia dress, those pretty Malva sandals and carry the Bow clutch bag.
Whatever you wear and wherever you go, we’d like to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
