While we’re wrapping up in chunky knitwear and dreaming of a white Christmas here in the UK, many others are lucky enough to be preparing to spend their festive season in the sun. Whether you’re planning to go away for Christmas, or are one of our lovely Australian customers; here’s a roundup of some of the best things to do this time of year when the sun's shining outside. And most importantly, what to wear.

Christmas on the Beach

It might sound like a crazy concept, but as summer in the Southern Hemisphere falls on the festive season - why not spend Christmas on the beach? The idea of swapping an open fire by the Christmas tree with barbecues on Bondi Beach won’t appeal to everyone, but it’s something we’d recommend doing at least once in your life. Besides, I’m sure Santa won’t mind exchanging his sleigh for a surf board at least one year!

Caribbean Christmas

Another way to have yourself a tropical little Christmas is to head to the sunny Caribbean. With its wide range of unique festive traditions, you’re bound to have the holiday of a lifetime. From visits from Sinterklass and his "Zwarte Piet” helpers in Aruba and Curacao, to Jamaica’s vibrant Christmas Markets; Christmas in the Caribbean is a truly unique experience.

What to Wear

Putting aside our fantastic AW12 collection, we also have some stylish options for a Christmas spent in the sun.

For the Guys

If you're spending the festive season overseas, some of our transeasonal new arrivals for men have arrived just in time. Bless in rose is a brilliant basic and it will look great teamed with a pair of chinos such as Wickham in seafoam blue.

For the Girls

One great thing about going somewhere hot for Christmas is the fact you can break out your summer wardrobe early. Maeve in yellow is not only a gorgeous dress that will be perfect for the warm weather, it's also in our womenswear Outlet making it an exceptionally good price. Don't miss out.
