Supporting former service personnel with clothing that inspires confidence

Founded in 2008 by Emma Willis, MBE, Style For Soldiers offers smart clothing and long term support to veterans, helping them navigate back into civilian life after they have been medically discharged from the army due to life-changing injuries.

A celebrated designer known for her eponymous brand, Emma Willis realised the need for smart, well-fitting clothing as many injured service personnel struggled with what to wear for interviews and formal occasions as they moved into their new careers. “There’s nothing more important than clothes for giving [the soldiers] confidence in their next stage of life, which is their biggest challenge.”

Style For Soldiers began with Emma gifting bespoke shirts to service personnel at the Military Medical Rehabilitation Hospital in London to help create a new ‘uniform’ for their new lives. “As with their military uniform, the [servicemen] want to look immaculate, they want to look smart, they want to feel proud.” Now, over ten years later, Emma supports veterans all over the UK with clothing, networking support and yearly reunion events.

As of November 2019, Reiss has been a proud retail partner of Style For Soldiers, supporting their stellar work by providing suits to servicemen around the country, helping them look and feel confident in their next chapters of life.
