HOW TO CELEBRATE THE FESTIVE SEASON IN LONDON

09.12.16

Add these festive events to your diary to celebrate Christmas in style

It’s true what they say about the festive season being the most wonderful time of the year and London is arguably at its most cheerful over the weeks surrounding Christmas. We’ve rounded up December’s most merry goings on to help you plan your social calendar accordingly.

DALLOWAY TERRACE

Decked out like the inside of a Nordic ski lodge with wooden furniture, blankets on every seat and cheese fondue on the menu, Dalloway Terrace has been visually transformed for winter. Alongside the warming food possibilities and flavoursome cocktail list, the venue is also home to a pop-up movie screen which will be showing the classics each Saturday until Christmas.

FESTIVE AFTERNOON TEA

For a seasonal twist on a classic, look to this year’s host of festive afternoon teas that are taking place around the capital. Topping our wishlist is a trip to the Bvlgari hotel, where they’re serving mini versions of the classics – think mini yule logs and a setting worthy of a Christmas card and you’re on the right track.

The Gin Journey has a festive special on the cards, with seasonal gin and themed cocktails on offer as part of their East London masterclass. As well as learning all about the spirit throughout the evening, you’ll enjoy multiple gin-based beverages and a spread of food designed by East London Liquor Co.
