CHRISTMAS IN MY CITY: NATALIE OFF DUTY

18.12.13

Last week we were in London town with Jessie of We The People Style, but fast-forward a week and the next blogger in our Christmas in my City series, is the ultra-beautiful Natalie Suarez of Natalie Off Duty, in the fabulous New York city.

Read on as Natalie runs through her Christmas plans and tells us what she’ll be wearing while she’s enjoying the holiday.

What’s happening in your city over Christmas?

NYC is gorgeous over Christmas. My favorite time of the year!! Everywhere is twinkling with lights, and everyone’s bundled in mittens and scarves. And I love, love the snow. Loads of people are around, shopping and preparing for gift-giving and ice skating in Central Park.

What do you do on Christmas day?

It depends where I’m at! Normally I’m at home in LA for Christmas, but this year, we’re going upstate and staying in a gorgeous lodge! I’m excited to sit by the fireplace in thick socks and sipping hot chocolate by the lake. After exchanging gifts, I love to sit back and watch Christmas films with my family.

What do you wear over the festive period?

I wear a lot of hats, oversized colorful coats and I love to layer! I love chunky turtlenecks over dresses, Russian fuzzy hats and leather gloves. And, you’ll always find me in a good pair of boots. For a fun holiday party, I love sparkle! Maybe a sparkly cardigan or skirt.

What would you like for Christmas?

1. Reiss Vanity quilted jersey long coat. I love a super-long, sleek black coat. This one is the perfect layering piece, and so chic.

2. Modern Vice Leopard Boots. I’ve been dreaming of the perfect leopard chelsea boot, and this is it. I would love to find these under the Christmas tree!!

3. The Row drawstring backpack. This classic piece is too gorgeous! I’d wear this baby every single day. Been lusting over it for months now!

Natalie wears: our 1971 Soul coat, Asto roll neck and Marvin trousers.

Check back on the blog next week when we’ll meeting our final blogger, whose city is looking extremely Christmassy.
