BE FRASSY: MY PARIS FASHION WEEK

02.10.13

Our guest blogger, Audrey of Be Frassy, has been a busy girl over Paris Fashion Week; she’s attended shows, presentations and taken pictures of all the stylish looks paraded through the city.

Among her hectic schedule though, she found time to sip a mojito and re-fuel on falafel. So, here’s how Audrey spent her fashion week.

I spent a lot of time outside the shows shooting street style. Being on my feet and darting from show to show requires casual outfits. Here are 3 looks I wore over the course of PFW. Heeled boots are a comfortable way of wearing heels but still being able to easily walk around.

Caffeine was an essential during my ‘up early – late to bed’ PFW ritual. A daily dash to Starbucks got me through my workload.

Kooka Boora is my favourite cafe in Paris – not very Parisian, it’s an Australian-owned watering hole in Pigalle. But this season, I brought all my friends in town to unwind and try their flat whites – the best in Paris!

L’as du Falafel is world famous, Lenny Kravitz is a fan. Photos of him and the owners are plastered all over the restaurant walls. You can get take-out too, which is actually what I did between shows, probably one too many times.

PFW takes me to many beautiful presentations – where I photograph and lust after a million pieces. I fell totally in love with these shoes.

I took time to quickly make use of the beautiful backdrops at the Four Seasons, while I was there for an event.

Cafe de Flore, it’s iconic, delicious and all my fashion week friends always want to stop in while they’re in town. So off we went to eat salads and sip mojitos. We spotted Giovanna Battaglia there while we were eating.

My Reiss Sage bag became my everything during PFW – big enough for my camera, a pair of flats and a scarf, plus all the other junk I deem essential to have with me at all times. An absolute lifesaver of a handbag!

PFW always means I spend a lot of time at Tuileries – the park becomes a street style catwalk of sorts. These are some of the looks I wore and quickly snapped between shows.

Wine in a very French setting, a great way to relax after the final PFW day!

Reiss Live has come to a close for another season, so we’d like to say a huge thanks to the photographers and guest bloggers who have kept us glued to twitter, instagram and the blog with all the fashion week action.
