AW12 MENS PREVIEW
Our Autumn/Winter preview showcases the soft layers and simple styling that are key for the season ahead. Tailoring is immaculately crisp but layered with soft crew necks in finely woven wool, and enlivened with sunrise shades of sky blue, putty and blush pink. This is Autumn’s lightest touch.

With the first soft layers from Autumn/Winter ‘12 landing in store and online, this is an ideal time to reassess your wardrobe. Forget chunky knits and overcoats for now, though – early autumn is all about lightness – through layers, textures and colours.
Shades of stone and putty keep the feeling fresh and airy, whilst warm greys are enlivened with sky blue and soft pink; the colours of sunrise in the city. Forget black for now, too – utilise charcoal and navy blue as the base colours for your sophisticated wardrobe.
For formalwear, match a wide cutaway collar with a crew neck jumper for a younger approach to tailoring. Abandon jackets in favour of jumpers, and sport chinos in navy and stone where formal trousers can be left at home.
Wool is crucial for autumn, but approach the upcoming season with a light hand. Cable knit jumpers in oatmeal and navy are crafted from wool in a superfine knit; ideal for layering over a formal shirt and spotted tie, like our Monroe. Shawl collars help to give the collection more substance.
T-shirts in melange cotton speak of this season’s sporting vibe, and are perfect for layering under super soft leather, like our Colorado jacket in tan.
Something is starting – embrace the first pieces from our Autumn Winter collection now.
