SS14 TREND: PASTEL PALETTE

09.04.14

Pastel shades go hand-in-hand with lighter days and brighter moods. When the sun appears, so does our desire to wear soft and pretty tones.

This spring we’re fully-indulging our sweet tooth with candy colours, but are toughening them up a little with graphic black.

MINT GREEN

The freshest of all the pastel hues, a soft and pale mint is the perfect place to start with this trend, as it’s the most wearable and looks great with those strong shots of black.

Try wearing: Raffa jacket, Blondel top, Lille trousers, Brina shoes and the Harland bag.

LIME SORBET

The zingiest of all the pastel shades, lime sorbet is citrussy without being too tart. Our stylists love teaming it with crisp white pieces to offer these simple looks some bite.

Try wearing: Rover jumper, Syphnx shirt, Nisa trousers, Serena sandals and the Saffron bag.

BLUSH PINK

Probably the prettiest – and definitely the girliest – of all the pastel tones, blush, barely-there pink is one of our favourite hues and looks great paired with creams, whites and washed-out colours.

Try wearing: Regale coat, Sphynx shirt, Olive shorts, Malva sandals and the Vixen clutch bag.
