So Reiss London kicked off Fashion’s Night Out with ‘All the Fun of the Fair’ and keeping it chic, the cocktails were passed stateside and the party carried on! We celebrated in three of our Manhattan locations; West Broadway, Bleecker Street and Bloomingdales 59th, not forgetting our Boston and Los Angeles stores who also joined in on the action!
Known for being one of the most glamorous events in the annual calendar, I took tips from our campaign model and changed into the CEDAR Dress. Staying true to my London look I nipped it in at the waist with the KLARA belt and styled it with the ADELE unstructured blazer and an ankle boot for that ‘Downtown’ trend I’m channeling this season!
Ready to party I started the evening at our West Broadway Store in SOHO where DJ and Fashion Blogger Gala Gonzalez hit the decks and got the party pumping with none other than ‘Native New Yorker’ by Odyssey.
With a sharp eye for styling Gala snapped up the ELEANOR and CONSTANCE tops for a layered peter pan look, I’m totes stealing her style!
The crowd played on our fairground grabbers whilst tucking into treats we miss from home. Courtesy of The London Candy Company, we went crazy for caramel curly wurlys, satisfied our sweet tooth with sherbet and coveted all things Cadburys!
For refreshments we sipped on Bulldog Gin and our taste buds tingled on London Lemonade Cocktails.
Shoppers were treated to totes and ready to be taken home by the fabulous fashionistas of New York were two of our favorite AW12 Accessories the KATIE and TALI bags, whom made their US debut.
With West Broadway in full swing, I hot foot it up to our Bleecker Street store where I was greeted on arrival with cold cookie dough ice cream, just what the parched party goer ordered! Reiss friends and fans rolled their sleeves up and continued to get competitive on the fair ground grabbers, putting all efforts in with the hope of winning a selection of Reiss treats …
At 59th Street, shoppers were all smiles as they queued around the corner for the Photo flip book, perfecting their pose to make short video clips that were transformed into mini flipbook fun.
Headed North, Reiss Boston hosted the event with Fashion Blogger The Bostonista. Bostonian fans and followers stopped by the store for bubbles and this seasons styling tips! Keeping it old skool we revived our beloved polaroid and snapped savvy style.
The last crowd standing and not just because of the time difference were the Reiss crew on Robertson, these LA folks they know how to party!. H.Wood Beauty were on hand to glamorize guests with mini makeovers and Fashion Night Outers danced to the disco well into the night.
All in all another successful shopathon and excuse to update the wardrobe with this seasons hottest looks. Thank you to all those Stateside for joining in and celebrating in style with Reiss. We look forward to seeing you same time, same states next year.
